A Troop Deployment Pod is a device which can be attached to a Pelican's overhang to increase its passenger.load capacity.

Overview

It is mainly used when the craft's scheduled for a transportation or a pickup of a large number of personnel or supplies, who normally wouldn't fit inside the standard main compartment of the Pelican (the so called "Blood Tray"). In addition, the Troop Pod may be able to host a Heavy Machine Gun, a General Purpose Machine Gun, or a 25mm grenade launcher facing out of the rear entrance.
